The Amtrak Group Desk will process your class reservation and either fax or email you a reservation number and confirmation letter.
Create a passenger list of all the people (students, teachers, parents) traveling on your trip. Send the complete list of names to Groups Sales via fax at (800) 872-3298 or email
Take you confirmation letter with reservation number and passenger list to the Downtown Milwaukee Amtrak Station at least 7 days prior to your trip date to purchase your tickets. You can also purchase tickets over the phone with a credit card by calling the Amtrak Group Reservation Desk at (877) 872-2321 and have the tickets sent via Fed Ex with a separate fee of $15.
Valid for sale October 1, 2009 - December 16, 2010. Valid for travel January 1, 2010 - December 16, 2010. Blackouts are all Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays plus February 15, 2010, April 5, 2010 and November 23-24, 2010. Valid trains are all Hiawathas except #332 and #339. Group size is limited to no more than 50 people on trains #330 and #337 and as large as 136 on all other trains. Discount fare valid for children (up to 15 yrs) and for adult chaperones traveling as part of approved school group. Must be booked only thru Amtrak group desk. 30-day advance notice required.
